Florida Notary Acknowledgement Forms

The Florida notary acknowledgement forms are legal instruments which a notary public uses to validate a person’s signature. As with all types of notarization, acknowledgements can only be performed if the signing party appears before the notary public and confirms their identity. The notary must then determine whether the person’s identity corresponds with the identity of the individual represented in the document. Once the identity of the principal signer has been confirmed, the signer will “acknowledge” (attest to the authenticity) of their signature before the notary public. The document will be notarized upon the completion of the acknowledgement form by the notary public.
